Submit your best, original, most scary story, for a chance to win prizes AND the opportunity to have your recorded, winning story, shared online! You must be a Tyngsborough resident or student at a Tyngsborough school to enter.

Stories will be judged on originality, creativity, and spookiness. Original stories only. Stories will become the property of the Tyngsborough Public Library and will not be returned. Incomplete submissions will not be accepted.

Story must be sent as a Word document or PDF and should be between 100 and 500 words in length. Send the original story to [email protected] by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, October 11th, 2022. Submissions must include a completed entry form. Click here for the entry form.

Paper entries and forms are also accepted at the Library. Story must be typed. Guidelines and deadlines remain the same.

There will be a winner in these categories:

• Grades 3-5
• Grades 6-8
• Grades 9-12
• Adult
