    Summer Reading kickoff program! An awesome balloon magic show with comedy and volunteers taking part. Archery, basketball, fencing and even the scottish caber toss are just some of the events  "athletes" will compete in. Find out how important reading and staying active work together.

    Alien Botany for kids!

    Tuesday, July 12, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

    Ages 9-12. Registration required.

    What is the significance of the wood sprites or the Tree of Souls in Avatar? What inspired the creation of such alien plants and do they reflect plants found on Earth? Explore the science of plants in popular science fiction with the real science of plant life on Earth. What would plant life from other planets look like? Then create your own alien plant in a 3D paper creation.

    Tuesday, July 12, 1pm – 3pm

    Grades 6-12. Registration required.

    Learn the fun  & basics of 3D design and 3D printing! Using the tools of 123D Design, design and print an original one word 3D pendant. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Tyngsborough Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

    STEAMpunk Teen Adventure!

    Wednesday August 3, 2016, 4pm – 6pm

    Grades 6-12. Registration required. 

    The Baroness is on the loose and it’s your job to catch her! Join this STEAMpunk adventure. You will get to invent stuff, build things, and solve puzzles, applying the skills that you and your fellow “punks” have in all the realms of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math). If you want, bring or wear your favorite Steampunk stuff.

    Book an appointment for an individual lesson or consultation on any of the following tech topics: computer basics, android tablets & phones, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, OverDrive digital downloads for Nook, Kindle or android devices.

    Consultations are held on Tuesdays, 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m., Wednesday evenings, 7-8 p.m. and at other times pending the availability of the Tech Advisor.

    An appointment is required, so call to reserve a time!

    Be a part of the summer reading program!  Join us for fun programs for all ages, many of which follow this summer's theme... all about health and fitness. Enjoy leisurely reading (or required reading for students!) and enter drawings for prizes.  Readers and prereaders of all ages are welcome to join in. Registration for all ages starts on June 21!

The Tyngsborough Public Library and Tyngsborough Town Hall are located in the same building.
From the North or South, take Exit 35 East (Route 113) off US Route 3. After approximately 1 mile take a left on to Bryants Lane.
