    The Seacoast Science Center in Rye, NH, is the perfect place to explore, discover, and connect with nature—especially the salty kind. Learn about marine mammals of the Gulf of Maine and how the Center works to protect them. Find out how scientists explore the deep and learn why ocean health matters. Each pass admits 2 adults and up to 4 children under the age of 18 to the Center at a 50% discount. Funded by the Friends of the Library

    Free college workshop for teens & parents! What do colleges REALLY care about? The Common App gives you a lot of opportunities to tell your story in a way that college admissions directors will find compelling - this workshop can show you the way to do that. You’ll look at each part of the Common App and show you where you can inject your personality and where you can protect your shortcomings. You’ll also learn share how admission officers use the information you give them to make admission decisions. Registration preferred.

    Isa Bauer from Tiny House Northeast will cover the basics of planning for and owning a tiny house on wheels, both its challenges and advantages, and will offer unique insights from the currently popular tiny house themed TV shows.

    Registration preferred, but not required.

    The summer reading program is fun for adults! Enter your name (each time you finish a book) into a drawing for great prizes. Funded by the Friends of the Library.

    Tech Advice by Appointment

    Book an appointment for an individual lesson or consultation on any of the following tech topics: computer basics, android tablets & phones, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, OverDrive digital downloads for Nook, Kindle or android devices.

    Consultations are held on Tuesdays, 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m., Wednesday evenings, 7-8 p.m. and at other times pending the availability of the Tech Advisor.

    An appointment is required, so call to reserve a time!
