    The Suburban Homesteader: Preserving Summer's Bounty

    Wednesday, July 27,  6:30-8 p.m.

    Jodie Gilson, owner of the J. Gilson Greenhouses in Groton, will show you how to preserve the bounty of your garden when everything seems to come all at once. Get great tips on drying, pickling, freezing, canning and vinegars. Includes demonstration, participation, samples and handouts. Registration required.

    The summer reading program is fun for adults!  Enter your name (each time you finish a book) into a drawing for great prizes.

    Tech Advice by Appointment

    Book an appointment for an individual lesson or consultation on any of the following tech topics: computer basics, android tablets & phones, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, OverDrive digital downloads for Nook, Kindle or android devices.

    Consultations are held on Tuesdays, 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m., Wednesday evenings, 7-8 p.m. and at other times pending the availability of the Tech Advisor.

    An appointment is required, so call to reserve a time!

    Jumpin' Juba Concert in the Garden

    Jumpin' Juba, together since 1998, plays a unique mix of blues and roots rock tunes, with flavors from many other genres (folk-Americana, Latin, Caribbean, jazz and country) stirred into their blue stew. 

    Bring the kids, friends & a lawn chair or blanket. GET UP AND DANCE  YOUR BLUES AWAY!

    Take me out to the ball game...Pass entitles bearer to up to SIX half-price tickets for the game stated on the front of the pass.
