Learn about marine mammals of the Gulf of Maine and how the Center works to protect them. Find out how scientists explore the deep and learn why ocean health matters. Each pass admits 2 adults and up to 4 children under the age of 18 to the Center at a 50% discount. Funded by the Friends of the Library

    Free college workshop for teens & parents! What do colleges REALLY care about? The Common App gives you a lot of opportunities to tell your story in a way that college admissions directors will find compelling - this workshop can show you the way to do that. You’ll look at each part of the Common App and show you where you can inject your personality and where you can protect your shortcomings. You’ll also learn share how admission officers use the information you give them to make admission decisions. Registration preferred.

    Book an appointment for an individual lesson or consultation on any of the following tech topics: computer basics, android tablets & phones, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, OverDrive digital downloads for Nook, Kindle or android devices.

    Consultations are held on Tuesdays, 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m., Wednesday evenings, 7-8 p.m. and at other times pending the availability of the Tech Advisor.

    An appointment is required, so call to reserve a time!
