    Join Mass Ghost Hunters Paranormal Society (MGHPS) for an evening of education and entertainment. They will be presenting a brief history of the Paranormal, discussing equipment and investigation methods, and sharing some of their most interesting cases. A question and answer session will follow.

    Meet the Author: Ted Reinstein, Wicked Pissed: New England’s Most Famous Feuds

    Wednesday, October 25, 6-8 p.m.

    From sports to politics, food to finance, aviation to engineering, to bitter disputes over simple boundaries, New England’s feuds have peppered the region’s life for centuries. Reinstein, reporter for WCVB-TV’s nightly news magazine, Chronicle, will bring to life many of the spats and arguments that have shaped the area. Free and open to the public.

    Turbans, Turks and Tyrants: The History of the Tulip

    Wednesday, October 4, 5:30-7 p.m.

    Social gathering at 5:30 p.m., presentation 6-7 p.m. by Dr. Richard Benfield, author of Garden Tourism and a professor at Central Connecticut State University.Travel down the silk road in the middle ages to Istanbul and trace the tulip's journey to the Netherlands, where, today, it is found in gardens, festivals and art and in the hearts of spring lovers everywhere. 

    Funded by the Friends of the Library and the Tyngsboro Garden Club.

    Consultations are held on Tuesdays, 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m., Wednesday evenings, 7-8 p.m. and at other times pending the availability of the Tech Advisor.

    An appointment is required, so call to reserve a time!

    Five week class for 3-5 year olds.

    Classes will incorporate yoga movement and breathing into simple literacy activities. Taught by yoga instructor Ellen Olson-Brown. Registration required. *No class on Tuesday, November 7.
