Public Computing The library has 8 computers for use. Whether you are constructing your resume or preparing your latest research paper, the library has a computer for you. Additional kiosaks are available for searching the library catalog. All of our computers in the library run on Userful, a Linux-based public computing system. Each of these computers offer patrons the OpenOffice Suite for word processing, spreadsheets, or other publishing needs. The OpenOffice Suite is compatible with Microsoft's Office Suite and WordPerfect. Wireless Access The libary also offers a wireless network. - A wireless network interface card, 802.11a, 802.11b or 802.11g or later.
- The library does allow patrons to plug into unused electrical outlets; however, it is strongly advised that patrons use only the grounded power strips. Use at your own risk.
- Laptop speakers should be turned off while in the library. Patrons may certainly use headphones.
- Please note that the Library cannot assist you with your laptop, network card, or configuration. The Library cannot accept the liability of handling your equipment.
