The Library Reading Group meets on the third Wednesday of every month to discuss a book of interest. The next meeting will be held on August 18th at 6:30 PM in Meeting Room 1.

Summer Reading Program

Teen Art Class Tuesday, August 17 at 9 a.m. Interested in learning a new art medium? Instruction in charcoal and pastels for ages 13 and up. Free. Registration required.

Lowell Spinners Thursday, June 24 at 10:00 a.m. Stories and autographs here at the library!

Children's Painting Classes Tuesdays, July 13, 20, 27 & August 10, 17 & 24. Ages 6-10. Registration begins June 21 and is required.

Origami Wednesday, July 21 at 4:00 p.m. with Michael LaFosse. Japanese art of paper folding for ages 7 & up. Families welcome. This event will be filmed for Teen Kids News!

Portugese Lusitano Horses Tuesday, August 3 at 10:00 a.m. Presented by Jorge Gabriel family of Tyngsborough. Library parking lot.

Summer's End Ice Cream Party Wednesday, August 18 at 2:00 p.m. All summer readers welcome.

Before It Was a Movie...It Was a Book

June 28-August 23 (8 weeks)

Read the book behind the movie. Each book you read enters you into a weekly drawing for movie tickets and final drawing for a gift certificate to a local restaurant. Pick up a list of suggested titles in your favorite genre at the circulation desk.

The Spring Used Book Sale was a great success! Thank you to the Friends of the Library, volunteers, donors and all those who came to purchase books and support the library.
