Show & Tell Story Times

Summer Nature Story Time
WHEN: Tuesday, June 23rd, 2:00PM
WHERE: Sherburne Nature Center Estate, Coburn Road

Come listen to nature stories and join us for a nature walk where we can share some of the discoveries we make along the way.

Special Outing Story Time
WHEN: Tuesday, June 30th, 2:00PM
WHERE: Children's Room

We will be reading stories that are about special outings and sharing an item from an outing that we participated in. Bring something to share with the group from a special outing you were a part of. The item can be anything from a souvenir, a photo, or even a picture you drew. Be creative!

Pollinate Your Mind

Why let the kids have all the fun? Join the Adult Summer Reading Program at the Tyngsborough Public Library.

HOW IT WORKS:

The program runs from June 29, 2009 to August 24, 2009. Read or listen to a book (or two or three!) from the Library. Fill out a form for each book and put it in the drawing box. We will draw a name each Monday morning (for a local gift certificate) from the previous week’s names. On August 24th we will have a drawing from all the names for a local restaurant.

No reading logs, no minimum number of books to read. Read what you want and as often as you want. The more you read the better your chances to winning.

Soup & Cereal for Tyngsborough Seniors

The Tyngsborough Public Library in coordination with the Council on Aging will be collecting soup and cereal and other non-perishables for our seniors living in Tyngsborough. Residents are welcome to drop off donations at the Council on Aging or the Tyngsborough Public Library.

Starship Musical Adventure @ the Library

WHEN: June 24th, 6:30PM

WHERE: Tyngsborough Public Library

To celebrate the 2009 Summer Reading program, award winning singer/songwriter David Polansky brings us a wonderful hour of music about the sun, the stars, the moons, the planets, and an original song about reading and outer space.

You’ll hear themes from Star Wars, ET, Close Encounters, as well as kid favorites: “You Are My Sunshine,” “Mr. Sun,” and lots more.

David’s trumpet, vocals, and humor will have you dancing, singing, and laughing a lot. Don’t miss it. Bring your voices!!!

This program is supported by the

Friends of the Tyngsborough Public Library.'
