    This class will conduct slow, gentle yoga stretches on the floor and will be taught by Jan Price, LICSW. Participants must be able to get off the floor unassisted. Registration required.

    AARP Tax-Aide Program
    Free tax counseling and preparation for taxpayers with middle and low incomes, with special attention to those 60 and over. You do not have to be a member of AARP or a retiree to use the service. Wednesdays, February 15-April 11, 2-6 p.m. Registration required.

    Weekday story times are held on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. & Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. and feature new books, hand rhymes, music and seasonal crafts for 3-5 year olds.
    Books & Babies story times, featuring music with Miss Leigh and Miss Suzanne, are held on the first Saturday of each month. For babies, toddlers and families.
    No registration necessary for story times.

    R.E.A.D.
    Wednesday, February 22, 1-2:15 p.m.

    Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) dogs are registered therapy animals who volunteer with their owner/handlers as a team. Children will read aloud to a dog for 15 minutes, one-on-one for fun and as a confidence builder. It's great encouragement for reluctant readers!

NOOKS!  Are you curious about eReaders?  Would you like to try one out before purchasing one to take on a trip or give as a gift?  Nooks are now available for circulation through the Library. The Nooks are preloaded with a selection of bestselling and classic fiction and nonfiction e-books. Place a hold online as you would for any item in our catalog or call the Library for assistance.  Our Nooks were purchased through the Friends of the Library and other generous donations.

Patrons now  have the ability to change their email address online and have user names other than their library barcode numbers.  To keep this process secure, patron passwords will have to be a minimum of seven characters.  Patrons will be prompted to change their passwords the first time they login after this feature is implemented.  Changing the user name is optional.  Call the Library if assistance is needed.
